I SEE EWE Volunteer Sheep Counters:

The 44th Annual Sheep Count is in the books and was a big success. Lots of bighorn observed and all counters returned safely. This year we tallied 265 bighorn, Your tremendous efforts under extreme conditions are greatly appreciated. The weather was hot and humid throughout the count, with a nice break in the cloud cover for day 3. We are very thankful to the Anza-Borrego Foundation for their sponsorship of this annual census and for providing the high quality "I SEE EWE" Sheep Count Hats for our 44th census.

Special Thank You to Kelley Jorgensen for the design; To CALICO's restaurant for the "I C EWE" cookies; To Fred and  L'Louise Jee for the donation of water, Gatorade, and support; and to Anon E. Mouse for the donated snacks and ice cold watermelon.

We hope to see you return next year (July 2-5, 2015) for another successful sheep count. Talk it up with your outdoor  friends, as we can use more backpackers and more count volunteers to fill other sites.
