9:00 a.m. Hike – Harper Cabin/Pinyon Wash 6 Hours
Join Volunteer Naturalists Ted Caragozian and Paul Larson for a moderately strenuous hike to Harper Flat, the cabin, and the Pinyon drop-off. The terrain is generally even, but the hike is about 7 miles. Wear sturdy footwear; bring water and a light lunch. Four-wheel drive required, but we’ll car-pool up the jeep road. Meet at the junction of State Highway 78 and Pinyon Wash (about 4 miles east of Tamarisk Grove).
