1:30 p.m. Walk – Those Mysterious Holes: Discovering the Abundant Life of ABDSP 1 Hour
Join State Park Volunteer Naturalist Terry Hunefeld to do some detective sleuthing on a slow, easy nature-walk around the Visitor Center gardens to discover what species of animals may have built those little holes along the trail. Along the way we’ll examine different species of desert plants “up-close-and-personal” to find out how they survive drought, intense sun and 122F heat. Meet in front of the Visitor Center. Limited to 10 participants. Sign up at the Visitor Center.
