Borrego Springs, CA – Anza-Borrego Foundation’s Institute announces its fall and winter astronomy events offering a closer look at the heavens. Escape the city lights and head to the Anza-Borrego Desert for stargazing beyond compare. The Institute is now accepting registrations for this season’s new lineup of classes, located in world-renowned Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in eastern San Diego County. Program instructors include Dennis Mammana, noted astronomer and celestial photographer who has shared the wonder of the night sky with audiences around the world.
The Institute’s wide variety of celestial programs range from desert stargazing and photography to astronomy lectures. Whether you’re new to the “sky scene,” an amateur astronomer, or you simply want to be awed by the breathtaking views, Anza-Borrego Institute classes offer something for everyone!
