After some brainstorming, Jim and Gary have mapped out the perfect route and are ready to lead a magical moonlight ride for experienced mountain bikers through the Borrego Badlands! We will start at Thimble Trail and make our way through the Badlands to the junction of Buttes Pass Road and Hwy 78. This is a strenuous 19-mile ride for experienced riders only; advance registration is required and space is limited.

*This ride will require a shuttle, so your patience and willingness to help is appreciated.

Riders are REQUIRED to adhere to the following:

You must be wearing a helmet at all times
You must have at least one spare tube, and all the tools necessary to fix a flat
Your bike should be a mountain bike with a minimum of 26” x 2” tires (the fatter the better)
You should bring plenty of snacks and more water than you think you will need

*If you do not come prepared with the above listed items, we reserve the right to turn you away to preserve the safety and enjoyment of the rest of the group.

About our Bike Rides
