Learn about the tremendous variety of life forms that populated this area long before it was a desert!

The Anza-Borrego Desert region boasts one of the longest continuous fossil records in North America, for the last seven million years, with fossils of such unique animals as giant camels, bathtub-sized tortoises, and sabertooth cats.

The lecture will take place at the Borrego Springs Performing Arts Center. No registration required. A $5 donation is suggested.
