Learn about Antonio Garra and the band of Native Americans who dared to fight back (unsuccessfully) in 1852. Dr. Phillips is the author of Chiefs and Challengers: Indian Resistance and Cooperation in Southern California and other books exploring Native American history and will sign copies of his books after the lecture.
