Join us for the seventh annual Vallecito Days, celebrating life on the 1860s frontier and the role of the Southern Overland trails in “Mapping the West.” Visit with a 19th century surveyor, and the pioneer men and women dressed up in period attire. Watch trail riders on horse and mule, as they camp and host activities appropriate for that period in our history.

The Vallecito Stage Station will be opened to the public and filled with artifacts and displays that tell the story of this vital area and the people who lived there or passed through in the 1850s and 1860s.
This annual event is the result of a cooperative effort between California State Parks, San Diego County Parks, the Ramona Trails Association and the Backcountry Horsemen of California- San Diego Unit.
