Location:
Nierenberg Plaza at ABDSP Visitor Center

If you were to receive a letter from some far-off corner of the cosmos, how might its envelope be addressed? In this intriguing program we’ll explore just where we’re located in this vast universe and how difficult it might be for anyone - or anything - to find us!

Desert Skies Outdoor Lecture Series
Join popular astronomer and syndicated columnist Dennis Mammana as he enlightens and inspires us about the mysteries of the cosmos visible from the Anza-Borrego Desert. Each of these exciting programs will be followed by telescope viewing of the desert sky, weather permitting. Please dress warmly and bring a blanket on which to sit. While it isn't necessary, feel free to bring binoculars and a flashlight covered with red cellophane to protect night vision.

$5 suggested donation. No registration required.

Be sure to bundle up for tonight's program!
