Geminid Meteor Shower

We do not have a formal event planned for Sunday night, but California Overland, the Park's concessioner, has an overnight trip planned for Saturday night with Dennis Mammana on board!

Sky and Telescope reports that this should be a great meteor shower to observe, starting at 9 pm tonight (much more reasonable than the usual "midnight to just before dawn"!), so get yourself out to Anza-Borrego if at all possible; otherwise, find a dark location somewhere, bundle up with some hot cocoa, and enjoy the show!
