Cool Canyon typically receives more rainfall than other desert canyons, resulting in an amazing variety of plant life, including flowers and mosses as well as more typical desert and chaparral species. This moderately strenuous hike will be approximately 2.5 miles, and will include quite a bit of scrambling over large rock outcrops. All vehicles OK.
