Saturday, October 30, 1 pm - 4 pm; Sunday, October 31, 9 am - 12 pm
Meet at ABDSP Visitor Center, groups leave every half hour
The Paleontology Society Open House at Anza-Borrego Desert State Park offers visitors the opportunity to be behind the scenes of a working paleontology preparation laboratory and in the Stout Research Center's paleontology collection hall.
Members of the Paleontology Society will tell the story of paleoclimates and environmental change in the Anza-Borrego Desert region, typifying each period with sedimentary rocks and fossils of the Park. Join them to celebrate National Fossil Day and the natural prehistory of southeastern California.
