Meet the group in the back parking lot of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park Visitor Center.

Enjoy canyon flowers and a day away from the crowds as you walk up this wash that’s a favorite of many naturalists. The hike will be an easy to moderate 4 miles roundtrip.
As the weather gets warmer, follow the flowers from the desert floor, to rocky canyons, and then to rolling hills. Catch the blooms before they’re gone by joining Volunteer Naturalists on these higher-elevation adventures.
Bring ample water, lunch, and camera and wear hiking boots and a hat. Please register in advance. Meet at the outer area of Visitor Center parking lot.
