Have you ever stood at the top of Font's Point and thought it would be fun to be down in one of the colorful washes at the base? Now you don't have to risk life and limb by climbing down from the top! Join us for an 8-mile (mostly level) round-trip hike through the colorful serpentine washes of the Borrego Badlands to the "foot" or base, of Font's Point.  We'll witness geology in action, and there may even be some wildflowers along the way.

Bring water, snacks, lunch, and binoculars for this easy to moderate hike (gain of 600 ft. in 4 miles). 4WD recommended, but carpooling will be encouraged to accommodate everyone. Meets at ABDSP Visitor Center Parking Lot (rear).
