Hike: South Palm Wash - 8:00 a.m.
Join Volunteer Naturalist Toni on a 4-mile round trip hike in this delightful sandstone canyon which starts in a wash that brings you to the canyon entrance. The beautiful one-mile sandstone canyon is entered under a natural stone bridge, goes through a slot and will end at a rock fall. Along the way you will be enchanted by the bands of colors created over thousands of years by the alternating ingresses of the Colorado River and seas to the south inviting you to take picture after picture.

Don’t forget water and hat. Limited to first 15 people who sign up at the Visitor Center.
