Join Anza-Borrego Foundation for a weekend devoted to current natural history research in our beautiful Colorado Desert region. There will be a research poster display at the Welcome Reception, a full day of lectures on various current research projects by field experts, a banquet dinner and plenty of time to learn about the natural history of our fragile desert.

There will be a Saturday afternoon keynote address by Dr. Bruce Pavlik, author of The California Deserts: an Ecological Rediscovery, followed by an evening presentation with author Mark Jorgensen and photographer Jeff Young on their new book, Desert Bighorn Sheep: Wilderness Icon.

**PLEASE READ** Included in your Symposium Registration ($150/$130/$115) is the Friday Welcome Reception, the day of speakers on Saturday, and the Sunday Field Tours. If you wish to attend the Banquet Dinner, it is an extra $45. You may attend just the Welcome Reception and/or just the Banquet Dinner by registering for just those events.
Call for Posters:
Posters are sought on original research in botany, ecology, geology, wildlife, climate change, paleontology, the economic value of deserts and other environmental issues. Posters will be featured during the Friday evening Welcome Reception at the UCI Research Center. Deadline Extended: Abstracts must be submitted by October 31, 2014 to firstname.lastname@example.org (link sends e-mail) using the submission form.
