Robin Connors, will present “Hawaiian Archaeology” on Thursday, January 22nd at 2:00 pm in the Discovery Room at the Visitor Center. Her presentation will cover Hawaiian hierarchy, settlement patterns and land use. A short business meeting will follow. The program is free and the public is invited.
Robin Connors is an archaeologist with field experience in Northern, Central, Southern California, Mississippi and Utah. She has worked for the National Parks in Hawaii, and whose field projects include the Kohala Field System, Hawaii Island; Kalaupapa National Historical Park, Molokai Island; and Pu’u Kohola Heiau, Hawaii Island. She is currently the District Archaeologist for the Colorado Desert District and works from the Begole Research Center at Anza Borrego Desert State Park. She makes her home in Borrego Springs.
Robin will be presenting a program entitled, "Hawaiian Archaeology."
