Vibrant images of desert native succulents will be unveiled March 9 in Borrego Springs by a photographer and biological consultant exploring the unique attributes that make them intriguing members of plant communities.
Stephen Ingram’s multimedia presentation begins at 10 a.m. at the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park’s Visitor Center, 200 Palm Canyon Drive, Borrego Springs 92004. The public is invited, and there is no charge for admission.
Ingram, past president of the Bristlecone chapter of the California Native Plant Society, will explore ‘Cacti, Agaves and Yuccas of California’s Deserts,’ highlighted by those plants in Anza-Borrego. The presentation will conclude with a 10-minute show set to music that showcases the stunning beauty of these remarkable succulents.
