Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is the largest state park in California, with over 620,000 acres. The Park features stunning washes, palm groves, cacti and dramatic vistas. Over five hundred miles of dirt roads, free backcountry camping, and a thousand square miles of open hiking provide visitors with an unparalleled opportunity to experience the wonders of the California desert.

Join us for part 1 of a 6-part series all about Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Experts from Anza-Borrego Foundation (ABF) and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park (ABDSP) will give you the inside scoop on the Park they know and love, plus how the two organizations work together and what the Park has to offer for recreationists.

We will provide an overview of the who, what, why, and how for both ABF and ABDSP, brought to you by the organizations’ leading ladies. We will briefly hit on an introduction to desert hiking, camping, and adventuring.

ABF and ABDSP Staff will be on hand to answer questions about the work both organizations do, and questions about the different kinds of recreation available in the area.
