Suzanne Emery will demonstrate uses of native plants for food, medicine and construction by the Kumeyaay Tribes of San Diego County and Baja California. For the past 15 years, as a volunteer park ranger, guide and docent, Suzanne has shared her accumulated knowledge with thousands of visitors. The Kumeyaay-Ipai Interpretive Center at Pauwai on Poway Road in Poway, California is an ancient village site.
