Mission
The mission of Anza-Borrego Foundation and Institute is to promote conservation in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park® and the surrounding ecological region through land acquisition, education, interpretation and scientific studies.
Founded 1967
Aid provided to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park
Land donated to the park 35,000 since inception; 32,000 acres left to go. Property worth an estimated twenty million since 1998.

Donations to the Anza-Borrego Foundation and Institute are tax detuctable.

Governed by a Board of Trustees.
Board consists of eighteen business and community leaders from across the United States. Board members serve without pay.

Membership Program
Number of members: Over 1,400
Membership dues: Memberships start at $10 per year. The membership program supports educational efforts and land acquisition in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
Membership benefits:
A family membership $35 (covering the entire family including children through age 18)
A 15% discount on items sold by the Anza-Borrego Foundation and Institute (in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park visitor center, and on the foundation’s website: www.theabf.org (or by mail)
Informative quarterly publication, Desert Update and the Official Anza-Borrego Desert State Park annual magazine.
