Visitor Center Store Management

Shop at the Park Store to support the Park you love!

Since 2003, Anza-Borrego Foundation has managed the interpretive sales operation at the Visitor Center to help boost income and increase interpretive opportunities for the Park’s many visitors. Before Anza-Borrego Desert State Park (ABDSP) had a cooperating association, Park employees ran the Visitor Center store.  However, ABDSP could partner with a nonprofit association in order to keep the store's revenue available for local Park-related projects and programs. In July 2003, ABF began its relationship with the Colorado Desert District and ABDSP as a cooperating association.

Revenue generated at the Visitor Center helps fund Park and Institute programs including interpretive programs, 5th grade environmental education camp, the distance learning program, equipment used by rangers and interpreters, taxidermy projects, literature, and the free park magazine that is distributed to over 50,000 visitors a year.

ABF has supported the Park we love for the past 5 years. Every volunteer, every member, every donation helps make a difference. Money spent in the Visitor Center and at the trailer (currently located in Palm Canyon) help make Anza-Borrego™ America’s finest desert state park. Support the Park you love by shopping at the Visitor Center Store and trailer.
