Anza-Borrego is one of many California State Parks that offer Junior Ranger programs for children 7-12 years old. Geology, ecology, history, plants, wildlife - these are just some of the topics the junior rangers might explore as they learn and play with other kids whose families are visiting Anza-Borrego!
Junior Ranger programs are held at the Visitor Center just about every Saturday morning from November through April, from 10 am to 11 am, and are free of charge. Sign up at the Visitor Center.
Print out the Junior Ranger Adventure Guide and have fun doing these activities with your whole family. You can then take the finished Adventure Guide to the Visitor Center to receive Junior Ranger Award.
