The 1.25-mile out & back hike is rated easy.\nDate: Tuesday, April 9, 2024\nTime: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.\nStats: 1.25-miles out & back, 100 feet elevation gain, rated easy\nMeet at: ABF State Park Store 587 Palm Canyon Drive, Suite 110 (in The Mall next to Calico’s) Borrego Springs, CA 92004\nBring: Sturdy Hiking Shoes, Hiking Poles Recommended, Sun Protection, Layers, Snacks, & Plenty of Water\n \nThis hike will be led by Board Member, Jimmy Smith. A little bit about Jimmy: “Borrego Springs has been home for my wife, Judy and me since 2001. We were lucky enough to join the Paleontology Society which led to our love of the Park and its rocks, dirt, plants, and animals. Since the Park has given us so much, we naturally want to give back. I have been on the Board since 2010. Working with the kind of staff and board members we have at ABF will change your life for the better. We might have met somewhere around the ‘Outrageous Front Porch Revue’ that explodes across the Borrego musical terrain every year, with all proceeds going to ABF and the Park.”\nMember hikes are limited to 20 people and fill up fast.
