Sicco Rood & Ashley Kvitek

Join Sicco and Ashley for a strenuous 5-mile hike through one of the most remarkable examples of transition zone vegetation in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park®. Only 4 miles, but strenuous and worth the work!

There will be some boulder climbing and steep uphill sections, so you must be in good hiking shape and familiar with walking off-trail. Please call if you have questions about the hike. You must register in advance for this program. Participants must be in good physical condition and able to travel off-trail in the desert over rough, uneven, and steep terrain. Each participant must be well-prepared with water, snacks, appropriate clothing and footwear, etc. Leaders have the right to turn away any participant that comes unprepared for the adventure.
