Research

Anza-Borrego Foundation contributes to important research projects that assist Park management in making informed decisions critical to the preservation of the precious resources in the Anza-Borrego region.

We support citizen science projects in which volunteers monitor native species like bighorn sheep, hawks, and mountain lions. Through these projects, as well as research scholarships and science symposia, ongoing studies of this unique region’s wildlife are made possible.

The more we know about the Park, the better equipped we can be to protect it for future generations.
