About Nature for All and Latino Outdoors:

Nature for All’s mission is to build a diverse base of support to ensure that everyone in the Los Angeles area has equitable access to the wide range of benefits which nature provides. They are committed to building support to protect, create access to our forests, rivers, and parks, and developing a new diverse generation of environmental leaders and stewards who connect to and care for our public lands.

Nature For All advocates for policies and programs that will:

  • Protect the mountains and rivers in our area, to conserve resources and be more climate-resilient.
  • Create more natural spaces such as parks and bike paths in our historically underserved neighborhoods.
  • Connect people and public lands through more trails and other outdoor recreational opportunities, to improve public health.

Latino Outdoors is a Latine-led organization that supports a national community of leaders in outdoor recreation, conservation, and environmental education. Focused on celebrating and expanding the Latine outdoor experience while strengthening the broader outdoor movement, the organization provides leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. It also serves as a platform to amplify cultural connections and narratives that are often overlooked. Latino Outdoors creates a space for comunidades to be present, share their voices, and highlight how conservation ethics and connections to nature have been deeply rooted in Latino culture for generations. The programmatic pillars of Latino Outdoors include outdoor experiences, outdoor narratives, and outdoor leadership.
