Highlights: Garnet Peak offers stunning panoramic views of both Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and the Laguna Mountains. We will enjoy breathtaking vistas of the desert floor below, stretching as far as the Salton Sea on clear days. The trail passes through areas with chaparral and pinyon-juniper woodlands, offering a diverse desert-mountain experience. This hike is a great opportunity to see occasional sightings of wildlife.
