March Member Hike – The Slot
The Slot is one of the most popular hikes in the Park due to its unique geological formations. The trail descends into a narrow, winding sandstone canyon that creates a labyrinthine experience for hikers. The walls close in dramatically at certain points, creating a sense of adventure as you navigate the twisting, narrow passageways. The hike is relatively short but memorable, offering incredible photo opportunities and a rare chance to explore the desert’s hidden beauty. This hike is suitable for most skill levels but requires caution when navigating tight spaces.
