Nature Watercolor Painting

Join us for a desert-inspired watercolor painting workshop! Whether you’ve always wanted to try watercolor or are a pro, this class is for you! Our instructor, local artist Shirley Spencer, will guide us on how to best capture the Park’s beauty using this art form. We’ll explore techniques, composition, pigments, washes, design, and equipment usage during this three-hour class. We’ll paint the beauty of the desert and immerse ourselves in connecting with the biological landscape and our inner artists. All materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own equipment. Please wear casual work clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on. Participants will take home their masterpieces!
