Description
Philanthropist Dennis Avery had a dream. He wanted to construct life-size sculptures depicting life in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park millions of years ago. The sculptures were built in 2008-2o12 by metal artist Ricardo Breceda on Mr. Avery’s private land “Galeta Meadows”. The sculptures now draw thousands of visitors to the area. They are a blend of stunning craftsmanship and placement in an open desert landscape. The Quick Guide to Sky Art Metal Sculptures in Borrego Valley is the perfect companion to viewing the sculptures.
