You can give the gift of nature to someone else! Anza-Borrego Foundation is a recipient of a generous grant from the Parker Foundation to host eight FamCamp weekends from October 2023 to April 2024. But to receive the entire funds from the Parker Foundation, we must raise $10,000 from donors who have not given in the past 18 months. This program will teach participants vital camping skills, such as setting up a tent, starting a fire, and cooking food outdoors and expose them to the basics of outdoor recreation while exploring the Park. These skills will ultimately create confidence in accessing the outdoors and foster a deeper appreciation for the Park’s resources. We’ll directly engage around 240 people in FamCamp who benefit from being outside in nature.
