What Previous Attendees are Saying:

“I so enjoyed getting “off trail” and exploring with the Anza Borrego Foundation. The camaraderie, physical challenge, and education around Anza Borrego was beyond my expectations. I so admire the volunteers for giving back to their parks and leading these hikes. I am happy to pay for another experience and give back in my own way!”

“Great hike, great group, great ABF volunteers/staff. Todd is a good leader and a good advocate for ABF.”

Hike Leader:

Todd Linkeis a resident of San Diego and just finished his 27th year in education, 25 of them with the Grossmont Union High School District. Todd grew up in Ohio and has been exploring, hiking and camping since he was a child. His earliest outdoor memories include hiking in the caves in Hocking Hills, sailing on Lake Atwood, swimming in Lake Erie, and camping at the seaside at Myrtle Beach.  Todd fell in love with the desert after his first visit in 2017 and makes the 2-hour drive to the park every chance he gets.
