Description
Join Paulette Morales, Environmental Scientist for Anza-Borrego Desert State Park (and Colorado Desert District), to learn about how this incredible desert resource is managed! You’ll get the inside scoop on the latest Anza-Borrego research, conservation and management. Paulette will provide an overview of Anza-Borrego and it’s connected ecosystems of Palomar Mountain State Park and Cuyamaca Rancho State Park and discuss the work by scientists and managers to contribute to research, restoration, invasive species mitigation and wilderness protection. She’ll then share with us a prime example of the ongoing research and restoration project at Sentenac Cienega, so that we can come to understand the research questions, methods, results and future plans of this important plot of land in the Park.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear, direct from the source, details about the research conducted in the Park, what the priorities are for managing the State Park, how the priorities are decided and who does what? We are lucky to have Paulette joining us, as she takes some time out of her busy field season to relay the content, we’ve all been waiting to hear.
