Astronomer:
Liam Kennedy is an astronomy educator and night-sky guide who has spent decades helping people slow down, look up, and reconnect with the universe. He is a past president of the Orange County Astronomers, one of the largest and most active amateur astronomy organizations in the United States, where he led public star parties, educational programs, and community outreach events. Liam has also served as a planetarium lecturer at the Griffith Observatory, presenting live sky programs to audiences of all ages. His work centers on making astronomy accessible, engaging, and inspiring—helping people connect scientific discovery with a sense of wonder and place under the night sky.
